February 20. 2009 Our team has decided to have the children in the high group do a project using the digital camera.Since we are working on the letters of the alphabet everyday, the children will be assigned letters of which they need to find objects (around the classroom and around the building) that begin with those letters … and they will take photos of them with a digital camera.I know this will be an exciting project for them as they get to play an active part in using technology in a meaningful way.It is a great way to foster literacy as they take ownership of the photos they have taken.On the Wiki space, the children can type sentences about the photos they have taken.
